Why Your Immune System Needs More Than Orange Juice

The average American gets 2–4 colds per year. For many, that number is higher — especially during fall and winter, when respiratory viruses circulate at peak levels. While hand washing and adequate sleep are foundational, many people are walking around chronically nutrient-depleted in ways that make their immune systems far less effective than they should be.

Vitamin C, zinc, and glutathione are three of the most important nutrients for immune function — and three of the most commonly deficient.

What's in the Immunity Plus Drip?

Our Immunity Booster drip contains a carefully calibrated blend designed for comprehensive immune support:

High-Dose Vitamin C (10,000mg)

At doses this high, Vitamin C functions as a powerful antioxidant and immune modulator. It stimulates the production and function of white blood cells, strengthens the skin barrier against pathogens, and reduces the duration and severity of upper respiratory infections.

Oral Vitamin C hits a ceiling at about 500mg — your intestines can't absorb more than that at once. IV delivery has no such limitation, allowing therapeutic doses that oral supplementation simply cannot achieve.

Zinc

Zinc is essential for the development and function of immune cells, including neutrophils, natural killer cells, and T-lymphocytes. Even mild zinc deficiency significantly impairs immune response. Studies consistently show zinc supplementation reduces cold duration when administered early.

Glutathione

Glutathione is your body's master antioxidant — produced in every cell, critical for cellular detoxification, and directly involved in immune cell function. IV glutathione has been shown to enhance natural killer cell activity and reduce inflammation.

B Complex

B vitamins support the metabolism of immune cells and help maintain the mucosal barriers (nose, throat, lungs) that serve as the first line of defense against pathogens.

Selenium

A trace mineral critical for the production of glutathione peroxidase — one of the key antioxidant enzymes in your immune system.

When to Get the Immunity Drip

Proactively:

  • At the start of cold and flu season (September–October)
  • Before travel, especially international
  • During periods of high stress (which suppresses immune function)
  • Monthly throughout winter months

Reactively:

  • At the first sign of illness (sore throat, fatigue, congestion)
  • After exposure to someone who is sick
  • When you can't afford to be sick (before an important event, travel, etc.)

The 24-Hour Difference

Many patients who come in at the first sign of illness report that their symptoms resolve within 24–48 hours — significantly faster than the typical 7–10 day course of a cold. This isn't anecdote — high-dose IV Vitamin C has been studied extensively and shown to reduce the duration of upper respiratory infections.

Prevention Is Always Better

The most effective use of immune IV therapy is proactive. Regular sessions throughout cold and flu season keep your immune defenses stocked with the nutrients they need to respond quickly and effectively when a virus comes your way.
